Our room featured a spacious layout with a breathtaking view of the lake, complemented by Victorian design elements. While the property exhibits signs of wear, the comfortable bed, well-equipped kitchen, and inviting spa bath with a heated towel rail ensure a pleasant stay. Essential amenities such as air conditioning, electric blankets, and free Wi-Fi further enhance the experience. The hill to the lodge is steep, making a car helpful, although local buses provide an economical option at $4 to the city center. While we appreciated the attention from friendly staff, this hotel offers experiences worth considering for travelers looking to balance comfort with thoughtful financial choices.
